Novosibirsk is the third most populous
city in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg and the most populous city in
Asian Russia, with a population of 1,523,801. It is the administrative center
of Novosibirsk Region as well as of the Siberian Federal District. The city is
informally known as the "Capital of Siberia". Novosibirsk is
the first in Siberia in which a metro system was established. The city is
served by Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport with regular flights to Europe and
Asia as well as to other Russian cities. The city possesses a Conservatory,
Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra, and several notable music venues.
Akademgorodok is a sсientific area of Novosibirsk. It houses the
Siberian division of the Russian Academy of Sciences and is the location of
Novosibirsk State University.

Other way is by bus 112 or 101 to the stop "Stanislavsky Square" (Ploschad Stanislavskogo), then get one of the bus numbers 1141, 1038, 1239 or trolleybus number 7 upto Bus Statuin "Metro Studencheskaya".
